diana and beyonce weren't even the best vocalists in their groups to me.
I'm def not a Beyonce stan... but I feel like Adele can sing only 1 type of song... and maybe opera I dunno.
Beyonce has much more variety in what she is capable of doing.
Adele in her element is better no question, but any other type of song... and adele can't compete

I agree with Carlos and get where he's coming from on her being great in terms of performer. However, Beyonce's album should of won that grammy. Even tho, Adele doesn't have much variety, she's very good in her element.

Couldn't agree more. Folks keep trying to reduce Beyonce to "Just a pretty artist who can dance, and is a media creation" status. Why they keep disrespecting Bey's pipes?
Its just like how people dont want the goodlooking person to be more than just a goodlooking person...the narrative people desire is "this less attractive person has to have SOMETHING, beyonce has too much" so they attribute talent with the less attractive successful artist, because in peoples mind there is always some trade off.
Also, people just dont like the idea of someone completely shytting on them in every spectrum and need to take things away from said individual

They don't wanna believe a woman of her shape, can belt out those emotional vocals. Whitney and Mariah are the only acceptable, attractive, "belting babes".

She'd be Jennifer Hudson status if she were Black. Popular in urban markets and in urban culture mostly.
