He was on the radio this morning saying Ward ducked the rematch offered in Nottingham, and that Ward isnt a big enough name to fight in Wembley. . And that Ward will finish his career undefeated
He had a great career and is pushing 40. Good for him that he leaves boxing with his mental and physical health in good standing. Some don't know when to say enough. But it feels like he picked a perfect time to end his career. It's not like he was going to be Ward anyway if he fought him again.

Froch only fought top notch competition since the Pascal fight (well aside from Yusaf Mack)

Well, now that he's officially retired, I'll just get this off my chest since I never fukked with this no defense having beak nosed nikka like that.
Ran from a Dirrell rematch and actually thought he won the first fight.
nikka landed like 4 punches in 12 rounds.
Constantly shyts on Ward even though he acknowledges he lost to him, but then moves the goalpost because it wasn't entertaining enough.
Went life and death with damn near anybody he fought that was worth a damn.
Didn't want that Ward rematch fade.
Didn't want that #GGGoodBoys fade
Didn't want that DeGale fade
I respect dude for fighting real threats and being in some entertaining fights, but that's about it. Dude is the very definition of a B level fighter, but for some reason he always thought he was the Mayweather of England or some shyt.
I can't even say he overachieved, because he was always the 2nd or 3rd best guy in his division. He was a solid fighter with a solid career. Never understood how he got on some p4p lists though.
He's not HOF worthy to me, but
I'd put Zab in (when he retires) before I'd put in Froch.
