I've been surrounded by Colombians all my life (Queens has the biggest number of Colombians outside of Colombia I believe) and not once have I heard them refer to themselves as Caribbeans. If they're from the area by the Caribbean Sea, they'll say they're 'costeños' (people from the coast) or the say they're from 'la costa' (the coast). :yeshrug: Anyway, Dominican ladies!
