I think the Cards should just go with Skelton.
I think in terms of technical ability, Kolb is a little better
BUT Kold is to timid/ injury prone/ scared to stand in the pocket.
Skelton is cool and reserved in the pocket. His problem is making reads and accuracy.
But even then, he gives them the ability to make a big play because he's wayyyyyyy more fearless than Kolb and has a stronger arm.
At times, he'll put it together for 2 or 3 minute stretches and look like Ben Rothlisberger .....but then he'll start throwing balls 10 yards over his receivers head.
I watched him play when they beat the Eagles in Philly last year. His technical abilities were horrible, but he's one of them big dumb muthafukkas who go unfazed. He made a lot of big throws in that game, though.
If he could ever learn how to read a defense, I think he could be a above average starter in this league.....the only thing that will keep him garbage forever is his accuracy.Historically, if you're inaccurate, you stay inaccurate.
