Why is she mentioned in this thread as the no. 1 supermodel in the world right now. If we're talking recently, wouldn't she be coming behind one or both of the Hadid sisters?

Don't know why I never assumed Cara Delevingne was from the UK. Guess I never bothered to look into it, but this reminds me...I was watching "Hacksaw Ridge" last night, that somewhat newer Mel Gibson movie based on World War II and every other minute, I was going, "Yooo....that's my guy from ______, isn't it?"

I knew Andrew Garfield (the lead) was from the UK, but it seemed like every other significant character that showed up was either British or Australian in that movie.

Only notable American I peeped was Vince Vaughn. :dwillhuh:

Her godfather is Condé Nast executive Nicholas Coleridge[16][17][18] and her godmother is actress Joan Collins.[19] Delevingne's maternal grandfather was publishing executive and English Heritage chairman Sir Jocelyn Stevens,[14][17] the nephew of magazine publisher Sir Edward George Warris Hulton and the grandson of newspaper proprietor Sir Edward Hulton, 1st Baronet.[20][21] Her paternal great-grandfather was the Canadian-born British politician Hamar Greenwood, 1st Viscount Greenwood,[8][14] and her maternal grandmother Janie Sheffield was lady-in-waiting to Princess Margaret.[14][22] Through one of her maternal great-great-grandfathers, Sir Lionel Lawson Faudel-Phillips, 3rd Baronet, Delevingne descends from the Anglo-Jewish Faudel-Phillips baronets; two of her ancestors on that line served as Lord Mayor of London.[23][24][25]

Nah that bytch waaaay finer than Cara

She would be a nightmare for a designer, she's way too fukking pretty and too stand outish. It would distract from the clothes you're trying to sell.

You need a model, a mannequin, someone cold and striking but not distracting. That's what Cara is.
