bruh we both on the same track more or less so i already know :mjlol: i was thinking about picking up an f-type last month and was absolutely befuddled that they wanted *700* a month :picard:

these goofy motherfukkers talking about paying over a thousand dollars for a jazzed up station wagon :laff:
At least you got backing from Navy Federal :wow:

I was on the verge of buying a Lexus in July, but I had a last minute moment of clarity. Like I only use my whip to go the gym. Why the fukk and I'm going start paying $600 a month + higher insurance , when I'm only in the car for 5 minutes.

shyt was just straight hustling backwards.

An Expedition isn't 80k, I would understand if it were a Navigator or Escalade.

during my honeymoon the resort let me use the new navigator for the day (for free :dwillhuh: )

shyt was so nice , had seat massagers and warmers, car was huge but drove so easily. I can see why people get them :banderas:

them cars are expensive, which means high payments. but some of those are marked up, which means they'll be upside down when the market gets back to normal. Also have to take into account those are probably managers who make big bread and those payments arent hurting their pockets.

"Oh don't live in expensive cities the cost of living is just too high".. In reality a lot of people are going to have a high cost of living no matter where they live:sas2:

I don't even think a brand new Beamer or Tesla would be 1,000 a month payments

This shyt does'nt look typical at all, what are these people's credit scores like???

If a car is 70K + it's very typical, especially if you're on shorter loan terms. Anyone with a Tesla that's not a Model 3 or Y is probably paying close to a grand or more

I honestly just couldn't stomach it. And its wild because all the dealerships racist as fukk until they run numbers  that shyt was high key hilarious to watch play out until I got tired of it.

You walk in at first and "yeahhh we got some SUVs and great deals on trade-ins" then its "you want that hellcat dontchu"

I might just do restoration instead next year. shyt is unreal.

If you notice, the same people calling this stuff insanity are the ones saying cost of living is crazy/100k ain't taking you that far/etc in other threads.

the people normalizing this shyt, even on shorter contracts, are not adding up to me. there's too many other ways to spend your money better
