I think BMW is pretty safe because it's not a real flashy vehicle outside of the 7 series.

Nah you wrong on this. That's why they taking lower tier Scat Packs, Durango SRT, and Jeep SRT. They easy to steal and sought after. You're food if you think they won't carjack you in a Scat Pack.
Camaros and Mustangs are also being stolen, just at a lesser rate. Watch the news

Really though hood dudes can't afford the maintenance on German cars. And German cars don't have 707hp.

exactly why rob someone of something that you can't take care of. Also the dodge brand has cheap HP. Also the added value of the fact they don't make them anymore.
that being said thought most cars stolen are taken to chop shops
yeah I know, that's why you put a killswitch on it. That being said is a flaw with security (like the kia boyz) or is it an issue with all modern cars.

Given that robbery story I'm starting to think that she might lowkey been a major dealer.
