We don't know how the future of the MCU will do once Endgame is over. Black Panther made history and I expect the sequel to do over a billion as well. Captain Marvel is being carried by the overseas market(which is easy since she's not black), but domestically she's doing Antman numbers. An X-Men reboot is exactly what the MCU needs in order to stay on top.

Liked it a lot.
She......is.......Superman! Nobody is going to want any smoke.
Diggin the whole skrull good guy bad guy fake out.....guess we aint doing secret wars though, that sucks.
Went a bit overboard at the end over shoe-horning her in to the main mcu plotline, with her being the one inspiring Fury's initiative, but it does make total sense. Thank goodness they toned down the comedy a bit, i felt at least a bit of real tension here and there.
