I saw your explanation and even taking that into context there is nothing about the two that is the same AOU the movie is an entirely different story that is just using the name of a comic series. The actual story is totally different before you even get to discussing what characters the MCU wouldn't be able to use.

All I want for this film is that it makes sense in the timeline, some sort of explanation that will probably be in endgame of where she was when Ronan was attacking Xandar, when Asgard was destroyed, when Thanos destroyed Xandar not just she is a lazy bytch or that she was doing something else that never gets explained.
