And then we could have Bats stories be Gotham/Bludhaven centric, Bruce doesn't need to be throwing hands with fukking Mongul, Ares or Sinestro

But you could give those positions that outsmart villains to other characters. Cyborg is a genius, so are Flash and Superman. I dont like Batman working with other heroes its stupid and defeats the supposed trauma of the character. the only reason he works with the robins/nightwings/gordon family etc because those are all extensions of his fukked up need to recreate his family and control his own little world with him in the middle. And again in that tiny circle he is the alpha. Bruce is too broken and manipulative to be a JL member imo how the fukk are you a valued member of the team if you aint a team player and have active plans to dust all of them "just in case"

Isn’t Batman technically just a part timer and not a full fledged member? I seem to remember him turning down actual membership a lot. More like he just jumps in when needed, also he could take out Cyborg in 2 seconds with an EMP and neither Flash nor Superman are on his level as far as strategy and detective skill because neither has had to train themselves to outsmart since they rely on powers. Batman is a good character to keep everything a little human and it’s also kind of cool to know that most of these god like characters can be taken out because a man decides to dedicate his life to being able to face any threat with or without powers. That said if Superman really wanted to he could take out Bat in .5 seconds if he decided to.

He was in the avengers. If Hawkeye there he can be there too. Human heros are very useful.

See, I don't mind Bruce in the JL, it shows the enormous character growth of being able to operate in a group while staying true to the paranoia of the core, which drives him to keep an eye on possible threats to humanity.

Just be realistic as to his vulnerability.
