Yeah, just got back from seeing this. This was not a bad movie. As mentioned, one of the better Marvel movies post-Endgame.

Y'all hated the CGI? I thought it was pretty good, but maybe I'm off. I was smiling while Harrison Ford was getting his Harrison Ford trademarks off. My dogg Giancarlo did his thing as well.

same I was actually expecting some bullshyt and this was a solid movie. This is better than Eternals, That last Thor bullshyt, Marvels (I couldn't even finish that shyt, Last Ant Man, Black Widow and probably equal to Shang Chi

Completely forgot about The Leader, was dope to see his return

Glad Isiah wasnt a one and done appearance in the MCU

This one isn’t as good as the 2nd and 3rd Captain America films, but it’s definitely an upgrade from the first. It outshines all the Thor movies except for Ragnarok and is better than every Iron Man flick except the first one.

Honestly, a lot of MCU movies are ass. This one was decent, though. I liked the action scenes, but the plot felt a bit lacking. They really could’ve played up Mackie as a Tom Cruise/Mission Impossible-style agent since he doesn’t have any superpowers.

They really tried to say this movie was awful lol.

yesh only reason we put up with the past MCU stuff was they were marked as parts of a puzzle so we sat through them all where a fire post credit improved our feeling of a mid film. Im actually alarmed people are saying this sucks lol

Saw this in IMAX earlier today and I thought it was good and better than I was expecting. There’s some issues with the pacing which I felt CA TWS handled better and the plot thin and sort of over stretched at the same time, and only way I described it.

The action sequences with Sam were better than I was expecting , except for the Red Hulk fight. Which brings me to another thing….

Marvel/Disney mid of not had any confidence in Mackey/Sam carrying the promo cause they should’ve kept the Red Hulk stuff out of the trailers. It actually brought the film down a notch imo. As well the CGI still in spots didn’t look as polished (even though I think hulk skin is hard to make I guess.)

This def should’ve led into an Avengers: world war hulk movie for me.

Hot take, but imo it’s at least as good as Deadpool and Wolverine and I can’t see why it’s getting dragged as much unless due to I kinda wish they didn’t start filming this one earlier and spent more time on script/plot cause I-think it could’ve been better. But does feel now they want to rush get to secret wars and the soft reboot.

Solid MCU movie. Its refreshing to see a solid Marvel movie.

I liked it. There are issues but it's more structural than anything. Most the story, acting and action is all good.

The movie plot plays out as though the audience doesn't have any idea Ross might turn into Red Hulk, so it's something the story does a slow build to: First new status quo of President Ross and wondering if he's changed, then asking what's Ross up to, than finding out who Ross was hiding, then realizing there's more to it, then realizing and dreading what Leader did to him and ultimately the change.

Thing is, their ad campaign was Red Hulk so having that structure to the plot makes no sense as there is no reveal. If you figure that out, then you can just watch the movie for what it is without trying to anticipate this twist they're alluding to yet you already know.

And I can understand that being a sticking point for people not liking the movie but most of the criticisms I'm seeing are stock complaints for everything instead of actual critiques of the film itself.

Winter Soldier should have ended with Robert Redford rippin his face off to reveal the Red Skull . .. this remake / reboot should have had ...

... after Red Hulk deforms back to human . . it should have been a Skrull laid-out on the cherry blossom road . . and then Sabra loads it up in her Hummer (more product-placement) . . .. then as the Skrull in the back comes back around . .. she reveals herself as G'iah and says "we're just getting started" . . .. . screen goes black . . .. . mid-credits shows Bruce Banner in some bullshyt space shuttle playin chess with Skaar when Captain Marvel pulls up and says "we need to talk - youre not the only one"
