Cant use smiles, formatting options when posting from phone

As the title says, im posting now from mobile (iphone 16) and the bold/italic/smiley/formatting options are not clickable for me to use…

What gives??

Click the menu icon (vertical three dots) on the far right and then click the [ ] icon to "Toggle BB Code"
