Stafford is an incredible physical talent who drives me crazy. You can see so much potential, but until he corrects some flawed fundamentals, there will always be too much inconsistency. For all the great plays, I'll also see sloppy footwork and regular changes in his arm slot change, resulting in sloppy throws. Even with a dynamic receiving corps, Stafford will always be a middle-of-the-pack quarterback until he corrects his mechanics."

Couldn't agree with Jaws more. Even still I think he was being very kind to rate Matthew 14th even with flawed mechanics. There are middle of the pack quarterbacks right now with better footwork than Stafford who would thrive with these wide receiver. I hope Schwartz is asked about this today at his press conference. I think at this point we need to see some improvement or Shaun Hill. One or the other.

It's bad enough Stafford throws side arm but he was throwing side arm off his back foot that entire forth quarter, real talk all of his second half throws were INTs in the making.
