Error Code 16, which indicates that a request was blocked by security rules, can occur for various reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue:

1. **Check Your Internet Connection**: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and not causing the request to time out or fail.

2. **Clear Browser Cache and Cookies**: Sometimes, cached data can interfere with requests. Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try accessing the site again.

3. **Disable VPN or Proxy**: If you're using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it temporarily. Some security systems block traffic from known VPNs or proxies.

4. **Try a Different Browser**: Occasionally, the error may be browser-specific. Try accessing the site from another browser to see if the issue persists.

5. **Check Firewall and Security Software**: Your firewall or security software may be blocking the request. Review the settings to ensure that they are not overly restrictive.

6. **Contact Website Support**: If the error continues, it may be an issue on the website's end. Contact their support team for assistance, as they may be able to provide more specific guidance.

7. **Wait and Retry**: Sometimes, the block may be temporary. Waiting for a while and then retrying can resolve the issue.

If these steps do not resolve the error, further investigation may be needed based on the specific context in which the error occurs.

Break

Since everyone is have this problem whoever is running the coli needs to contact their ISP and put in a ticket to website support. This is a weird glitch that might have a simple solution since it’s only affecting one page.

The access denied error 16 from Imperva means that the security service blocked a request based on the Block User WAF settings. This error is displayed when the session is cookieless and the visitor was blocked.

To investigate the incident, you can:
  • Go to the Security Events page in the Cloud Security Console
  • Filter the events for details in the error message, such as IP or Incident ID
