I'd love to hear what Diz has to say about this. My dude probably feels like he wasted 5 months and 3 weeks preparing, when he could've started writing last Saturday and still bodied him.

Honestly, ths was a complete waste of a battle for Diz. He probably went in expecting to have a vicious back-and-forth, instead he looked lke he couldn't be bothered, did his bit and bounced.

I realize this is sad...but at the same time, I give Canibus respect for not bytching out and being man enough to take this huge L.

A lot of mainstream cats talk about loving Hiphop but want to stay in their little comfort zone. Royce can clown on twitter, but it wasn't that long ago when he got his ass served by Mista Fab. And it was also embarrasing to see him spit weak verses.

Honestly, I've barely listened to any of Diz's actual music. I enjoy his battles, I think he puts an obscene amount of effort into laying into his opponents and his vocab and rhyme-scehemes are crazy, so it would be unfair for him to just be stuck in the battle-rap circuits.

Imagine the clowning he'd have if he signed to Shady and got on an all-out onslaught of Canibus with Slaughterhouse

He didnt HAVE to use it... he chose to bust it out. no pun.

he lost (or intentionally lost) and pulled out his shyt to read.
i think he thought he was in a play and was trying to do a soliloquy, but he forgot other people were there. smh

What's sad is that while watchin' the battle, I kept waitin' for it to stop being embarrassing... but it just got worse, and worse, and worse.

He starts off with the creepy smile and the long ass pauses.

He starts to lose the crowd.

Then he pulls out the notebook.

Completely loses the crowd.

Then he starts yellin' at the crowd cause they won't let him spit his rhyme.

Then he concedes defeat.

Then he says "I tried my best... but y'all coulda let me spit my shyt".



Terrible, man. This nikka has painted himself silver, made horrible albums, took a picture wearing a cricket uniform, all kinds of shyt. I thought that if nothing else, doin' this battle couldn't hurt. But he managed to get the most attention he's gotten in a long time... for all the wrong reasons.

And he deserves EVERYTHING Royce throws at him cause not only did he diss them at the beginning talkin bout how much rhymes he got for them...this nikka pulled out a NOTEPAD during a battle..like...do nikkas know how RIDICULOUS that is?..I've never seen anything like that in my life...nikka should just drop the Mic...the Mic tattoo he has shoulda just faded away...
