…..canelo got a new S&C coach and he’s back to his old training methods. That loss was necessary for this upcoming chapter of redemption. Canelo needed to learn the hard way. He forgot what made him great. And it wasn’t his power.

I got Canelo by TKO for this one. Admittedly Im not hype at all tho. Tbh Im not sure I have reason to be. On his substack Dan Rafael considered their first two fights "classics" & I disagree. My opinion on them is more in line with Larry Merchant's- they were good competitive chess matches sans drama. ...except the drama in the scorecards. Now GGGs older & has looked vulnerable for years so it's hard for me to see him giving a better performance than his first two tries. Ill still watch dont get me wrong but hype wont be the reason as much as love for the sport
