This overall is a bad look for Canelo as it was for Bowe when he dropped the WBC title to NOT fight Lennox Lewis at the time.

We all know Canelo is the draw in this equation so money has never been a sticking point, but it's ALSO a clear case of "It Takes Two to Tango" EVEN with GGG not having a major PPV history. The problem I have w/ Nelo is that he's not even looking to fight the Top Jr Middleweights if he isn't fighting at Middleweight more than trying to fish for another Welterweight with a "Name".

I also think vacating the most prestigious title in Boxing (in his Prime) outside of the Heavyweight title is a disgrace to the Mexican lineage he has no choice but to follow. We can talk about "Business decisions" all day, but at the end of the day this is a CLEAR duck move on Nelo / Golden Boy's end. If the roles were reversed everyone here nay saying GGG would be having a field day right now.

they do have to pay for holding the belt but thats part of the game. the WBC champ goes in against the IBF/WBA champ. the difference is, Floyd was telling media before the fact that the belts didnt make him and he would not pay the sanctioning fees. I think he did that with Zab and the IBF. he did it in another fight too. told them before the fight he didnt want the belt. he only wanted to pay the WBC. you dont hold a belt and then say I am dropping it because the fight cant be made....and THEN use not wanting to pay the sanctioning fees as an excuse. did Canelo already pay fees for the Khan fight? if he did, what you are saying is moot my nikka.
