Honestly Andrade has done nothing to deserve that payday......there's much more deserving fighters who are actually out here putting their necks on the line. I would go for Charlo or Hurd. But it might be tough with them being with PBC. but if I'm charlo I'm begging haymon to let me step out for a fight. That's a life changing opportunity. They could do a pbc-dazn collab.

Danny fought Southpaw and used his straight and looping left hand he probably runs away with this. He couldn’t miss with it but only used it after getting caught with a lot of left hooks and getting a mouse under his right eye.

Who do you have as being better..Hurd or Andrade? Last dude just wrote Andrade off like he was a scrub that cant do shyt to figure out the Canelo matrix....kind of a odd post.

Both can trouble Canelo with their style, Andrade with being a good, mobile boxer who fights well at range and pretty slick defensively and Hurd the tireless volume puncher. Canelo's main criticism usually are his legs (speed), activity and gas tank. Neither is very bad but they are not his strengths. A tireless volume puncher can outthrow and outland him especially down the stretch where Canelo is fading a bit. A good boxer-mover could stay outside and pepper him, maneuvering out of Canelo's way. Both are very hard though and need an exceptional fighter with a good chin too.

Hurd and Andrade have the styles but they have lapses and it's questionable whether their chin would hold up like a Golovkin's, also with Andrade can he win on the cards with a rather passive style? It could play out similarly as Canelo vs Lara. A debatable fight on the cards... but Canelo has done enough against Lara to me though and he only improved since, not sure how Andrade matches up to that Lara in pure boxing. Both are very skilled.
Hurd has an aggressive style but very easy to find too and I don't think he would eat the same combos from Canelo like he ate them from Lara or Trout, Lara even shook him a few times in the fight. I think Canelo would stop him.

I don't see Hurd beating him, sure he's a big mfer who throws volume but if a pure boxer like Lara could stand his ground against him through 12 and sometimes even rattled him I don't see Canelo not seriously hurting him at least if Hurd fights his usual fight. After a few picture perfect counters Hurd will either have to reduce his volume or he will get knocked out on short notice, Canelo won't let Hurd to just ragdoll him and unless he doesn't improve his defence till then he will be an easier target than Jacobs or GGG.

If Hurd would have a concrete chin next to his style he could be the man who beat Canelo but I think he can be hurt or stopped.

Canelo would eat some shots on the way but he would land the bigger ones, he would land all of his flashy combos on Hurd.

I said Hurd has the best chance that dnt mean it’s a great one it’s better than all the other middles tho. Lara hurt Hurd but he took major punishment to do that. Canelo aint been marked up since the Floyd fight. That’s the only fight we really seen him be hurt in and he fell back once he was hurt. Yea he was younger but a leopard rarely ever change his strips just like Jacobs found away to lose this fight in the same fashion he lost the GGG fight. Plus u need space to do that cute shyt Canelo be doing and Hurd dnt give u much space to operate. Hurd also has an underated jab and he doesn’t just jab to jab like G and Jacobs was doing in the previous 2 fights.


Canelo great and all but he guanteed to slow down and give away atleast 3 rounds. Lara, GGG, and Jacobs all lost the same way. By fighting scary. Something Hurd won’t do. Now thats guaranteed. You saying Hurd might get stopped yea he might but if u ain’t willing to get stopped you ain’t really trying to win the fight to begin with.

Andrade has a chance but I don’t see his chin holding up, Charlo has a chance but he’d need the perfect game plan, Hurd needs about 3-4 fight until he’s even ready, but that’s the guy. You need a relentless pressure fighter who will not care if they get KOed for Canelo.

The word champion gets thrown around too easily. Andrade is a 160 lb title holder, not a "champion".....canelo beat legit champions to get his belts, Andrade did not. He's never taken any big risks in his career....case in point, ducking charlo back in the day. It's still a good fight but there's more deserving guys out there to get that payday. Charlo and Hurd are the first to come to mind. I like to see guys get rewarded for taking the toughest challenges. That's why I was happy to see Danny get that life changing money before moving up. Let Andrade and little g fight and the winner fights canelo.
