I never called little g a bum. Just that his reputation was built off hype more than resume. it was the media that built him up into some unstoppable force. And as soon as he stepped up the competition all of his flaws got exposed. He lost to both Jacobs and Canelo. Not only did he lose to canelo but he got walked down and battered while being completely shook to stand his ground and exchange. According to who???....the media?.....we don't give a fukk about them. Most people had canelo over Lara. And most fighters had canelo over little g in the rematch. All the best fighters praise canelo as a top p4p fighter. You only hear all this hate from the media who's still angry cause he beat their great white hype. Spence has canelo in his top 3 p4p. Ward got him in his top 3. Tank has him as the number 1. Canelo is well respected by all of his peers. It don't matter what you want to be the truth. I want to see how Canelo deal with the Jacobs power. Jacobs is faster than G but not faster than Canelo it seems. Canelo took GGG shyt pretty good but he saw all them slow ass punches coming so he didn’t take full damage.
Canelo makes the best fighters gun shy tho. His counter punching is. Jacobs has to make Canelo pay for trying to sit in the pocket. If Jacobs can make Nelo second guess sitting in the pocket he has a great chance. Canelo will make u pay tho so Jacobs got to beat him in the trenches. That cute shyt won’t win against Canelo. He has to bring the fight to him AND use the GGG tactic tactic of throwing pitty pat scoring jabs when Canelo is resting.
The Canelo that we come to know will give away rounds and/or fight in spurts.. So he has to make Canelo fight at a pace he isn’t used to. Canelo defense and counter punching wont stay pristine the whole fight if he can’t take his normal rest so when Canelo rest he has to attack him. The downside is that attacking Canelo leaves u open to that Canelo pinpoint countering. His counters turned GGG the “monster” into Lara
