He would beat 37 year old Mayweather if they fought today. He was too young. It doesn’t matter that Floyd was certainly way faster and stronger when he was in his early 20s as a undefeated knockout fighter

That's fair, he get's a strong criticism on whatever he does.
But truth be told, Reynoso/Alvarez aren't fighting everyone, so this 'Canelo runs all the fades' rhetoric needs to stop. His team are exceptional at moving about when and where they need to. They snuck into 168 when Benavidez lost the belt on the scales, they were happy to do so because they were sneaking away from Andrade. They snuck out from 168/Benavidez when he came knocking again. They'll do the same with Beterbiev.
This sort of ducking isn't unusual at the top level, the pretence that it isn't happening is however.
Now, the 'extra' methods in which Alvarez gets to 200lbs division is another conversation.
