Bud has been rocked by lesser men and Bud gets hit in general (look at him post Madrimov). Bud is not Bivol or Floyd, he is a different type of animal and i feel Tim and the likes are doing Bud a disservice with how they are speaking lol.

I think the fair argument is Bud always finds a way to adjust and his a damn good team behind him and his generational traits amplify his chances of being competitive than say a Jermell Charlo who we can argue is more “raw” talent and “tapped out” level wise in his Canelo fight.

more so mean the expectations he building in the sense of Power and Chin on Bud and then hinting at some Floyd shyt. I think Bud's greatest traits are his ability to adjust and find a way to go kill mode, but he isn't a defensive wizard, and doesn't have some crazy chin though I will say his recovery is great. but with the Chin and power standpoint Canelo aint like non of them nikkas he fought in the past, and like I said in the past, Mell Charlo is a nikka known for getting folks the fukk out of there at 154, and granted we only say Bud in one fight at 154, imo he looked Mortal power wise, and Mell was Devin Haney status against Canelo

Oh I see. Hyping him up to be (possibly) torn down.

In another video I watched he leaned more into having a higher IQ and being able to win either all the way outside or totally in the pocket, and says Canelo kills him in the midrange. He also thinks the southpaw stance will present a problem.

yeah Im like that Mell Charlo fight killed all the "Canelo will be worried about Bud's power" stuff as we all know dude took shots from cats like GGG no issue, and Mell is bigger than Bud and was a KO artist at 154 where Bud looked Mortal power wise.

I think the IQ, Will, and Southpaw stuff could be the issue, and Bud's wrestling skills may be able to help not get manhandled in the times he can't stay outside

Tim said the same thing in response to the common notion of Canelo being stronger

Yea Bud needs a tune up fight

Not really.
Bud is the most prepared fighter of the past few eras.

That whatever adversity based on variables of circumstances.

Even as little as possible non-existent ring rust in general. Bud usually is that pillar of mental focus. That bud csn problem solve and capitalized on that process on the fly. Plus gets better at it with age.

So I don't think bud needs a tune up. Although any little bit helps. I just have seen bud be the best malleable fighter.
in this generation of boxers in my lifetime.

Canelo takes this. It’s just too much weight.

Canelo leveled a 200 lbs. Hispanic fighter with a single punch out of nowhere last year.

Additionally, Crawford is too old and inactive to move up like that.

I’m more worried for Bud getting seriously hurt than I was for Roy moving up to HW. That said, nobody is going to put Crawford over Mayweather all-time with their current resumes so might as well try for something the latter never did.

Bud is about to get beat the fukk up for generational wealth. I don't give a fukk what Tim Bradley or Teddy Atlas is talking about. Bud is going to look good for the first 4 or 5 rounds then he's going to become stationary due to the weight and power. Then he's going to get pummeled until Bo Mack throws in his chicken grease stained towel or the ref stops it. Bud will be 38 in september and even at 147 liked to fight with his back on the ropes.

Jermell is not a KO artist.
at one point a few years ago at 154, Mel was the only fighter currently in boxing at the time that had ko'd 3 fighters in the top 10 of his division. What do you mean he wasn't a ko artist??? These were legit top 10 guys
