at one point a few years ago at 154, Mel was the only fighter currently in boxing at the time that had ko'd 3 fighters in the top 10 of his division. What do you mean he wasn't a ko artist??? These were legit top 10 guys

He has a 55% KO percentage. That's not a KO artist.

GGG has an 88% KO percentage.

You see the difference?

And he's also ko'd 8 of his last 12 opponents. The first to knock out Lubin(with one punch). Now watch this.... Romero has an 81% ko rate. He's 2-2 in his last 4 since stepping up the competition and should EASILY be 1-3 if not for Tony Weeks gifting him a ko win in a fight against Baroso he was clearly losing. When Charlo stepped up the competition, he started getting knockouts, when Rolly stepped up, he started losing. If we agree on nothing, hopefully we can agree on those facts.

Still not a KO artist.

After that Spence fight Bud ascended in terms of popularity and awareness, and he's literally only had 1 fight since. Son should be out there showing the world what he's made of and making bank.

Yea, but I think mentally it's clear buddy is ready to go home and be a family man. The Spence fight was his magnum opus but after years of i imagine some resentment of being more or less underappreciated leading up to that fight (which kinda served as the ultimate FU to all detractors), i don't think he cares about the popularity or awareness outside of creating the biggest super fight he can cash out on and leave.

Would probably be different if Crawford/Spence had happened 4-5 years earlier than it did.
