you know, i was thinking about this yesterday...and it really would require Canelo to do some De La Hoya hunger strike starving in order to fight Pacquiao.

there's no way Canelo could get to or under 150 without looking sickly, and Pacquiao could barely even reach 147 on fight night for his actual 147 lb fights...am i right? :heh:

:dwillhuh:

Canelo would be a zombie at 150 against Manny and EVERY fighter that has fought Manny at a catchweight has looked slow and not as powerful anymore:scusthov:
hoya nearly killed himself trying to fight pac, at least canelo is smart enough to not fall for those tricks

Both sides have a point. No way in hell Manny fights at 154 or 160. He'd get smashed. Probably can't even make that.

I never want to see Canelo try to make anything less than 154 ever again. Don't care how much he hydrates the night before.

Smart. This would be a retarded fight and not even worth watching ( I say this but would still watch :D ) given how one fighter would be severely disadvantaged. There is plenty of comp in both their weight classes that this fight doesn't need to happen and no that doesn't mean we need fukking PAC vs JMM V.

Canelo dont need none of these nikkas now:manny:

He just made 8 million dollars to fight Alfredo Angulo......he's good and he got a SWEET deal with Golden Boy (he makes 80/20 on all profits.....live gate/concessions/PPV/etc.....after all the neccessary expenditures are paid first):ohlawd:

:whew: that deal is gawdly

Who even thinks that a Pacquiao/Alvarez fight would be good?

Pacquiao has already stretched himself thin by going up several weight classes. And he's getting up there in age.

After the beating that Cotto gave Martinez last night, a Cotto/Alvarez fight would be more reasonable than taking on Pacquiao.
