So if your first 10 survive you basically automatically become syndicated"Anger Management" was one of those 10/90 deals. They filmed 10 episodes up front and if the ratings were good enough, FX automatically had to sign up for 90 episodes. This was the same type deal Tyler Perry was getting with TBS when he was pumping out 100 episodes each of "House of Payne" and "Meet the Browns". Charlie Sheen made out like a bandit. I think he got 100 million dollars for that show...
Correct, Martin Lawrence and Kelsey Grammar tried it with their show but it failed to hit the ratings threshold, same with George Lopez. Charlie Sheen was still in the midst of and just getting thrown of of "2 & a Half Men" so people were interested in "Anger Management" and that interest got it passed the rating threshold but the ratings soon dropped hard during the back 90 episodes which is why FX didn't pick it up for a 3rd season...So if your first 10 survive you basically automatically become syndicated
