Bungie was like " The fukk you supposed to do with this after a good weekend....

Jack shyt. "

Should just be an awesome co-op game, but noooooo... It gotta be live service.
Co-op isn’t worth the money.

They’d have to build the entire game around multiple people playing at the same time, and they probably wouldn’t sell more copies for the increased price of development :manny:

This is the issue sony is running into with trying to turn their single player games into GAAS.

Their gameplay isn’t built around, challenge, experimentation, competitiveness, etc.

An ongoing multiplayer game needs to have gameplay that will bring people back for months(years?). I don’t see how they turn the general Spider-man gameplay into something that would make people come back everyday. Would be cool to run around the city with your friends for a day or two, but beyond that they’d have to change the game fundamentally to keep people interested.

bungie has been exposed plenty the past two years. them having a say as some sort of experts on live service has definitely been stretched beyond reason

Holy fukk... Why didn't they just lean heavy with Into the Spider verse branding. Made it completely sterile.

The obvious hang up was making the Spider-verses. There is no incentive to play this beyond the story content. Combat isn't a particular draw for Spider-Man games.
Dudes argued me down and posted "combo videos" about how great the spiderman combat is when I said it was weak and my main hope was for them to improve it.

Halo infinite has maintained an audience through gameplay in a way no sony game ever has thus far.

Y’all like to hate on the internet but numbers don’t lie:manny: Halo infinite has a very healthy and growing audience :ehh:

There are more single player games than multiplayer games. And far more triple A single player games than multiplayer.
