Nothing wrong with controlled immigration but when a majority of new people coming in are from the same country how is that doing anyone any good? There is less housing, less jobs and less of everything.

International students were supposed to be coming here to study not work doordash and other low paid jobs. Now they use it as a way to try and get PR.

Another issue is indians get into these jobs and then only hire other indians from their caste or group.

Go to any Tim Hortons and it's all Indian staff, same as mcdonalds, shyt is hilarious once you notice it, and people have noticed it.

It's become politically poisonous so suddenly the current government changes things.

They need to put a cap on immigration from certain places for a while.

I've noticed they do the same thing in wingstops around new orleans.

I love Indian people in general, but Toronto got hit so hard with low-quality immigration in the last 2-3 years. It's kinda shocking to see the demographics of a big city change like that

Overall, most immigrants are fine and are taking the menial jobs no one wants (Tim Hortons, various retail jobs) but a lot of them are running scams and going to fake colleges, getting fake degrees and fake jobs to boost PR scores while pooling their money together (remittances back from overseas) to buy up entire blocks in Brampton and the like - it's a problem and the government allowed this to happen
