Such a pointless thread... Most Americans know nothing of Canada or its history and since this board mostly Americans, they gonna come in saying some dumb shyt.

c00ning at its core is an American phenomenon and most Black Canadians are not born here or are literally first generation Canadians. Most of our parents only came here from the Caribbean or Africa in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Mostly the 80s where we had an influx of immigration from the Caribbean. c00ning has been of the Black American experience since hmmm, the 1700s at the very latest? It was naturally part of survival for some Black Americans and a way to assimilate into American society. Now this wasn't the option for all Black Americans and not all went this route but it's definitely much more ingrained in American society and really not even comparable.
