Virutally every poll continues to forecast a majority. At very best, if held today would be a slim majority.

Conservative partisans are largely in denial because Pierre continues to draw crowds. But they arent accounting for the fact that votes shifts are largely from non Conservative voters ( previous NDP and BQ voters). Only way this will reverse is if either NDP or BQ recover in the polls and its hard to see what single event could catalyze that.

Also Carneys move to get rid of carbon tax as first move as PM looks like its paid off immediately. Voters now credit him for that instead of PP, who campainged on this topic for years and built his entire campaign messaging around it
