It's $11.40 here in Ontario Canada and its about to jump to I think $14 come January 1st 2018. Then $15 January 1st 2019

Not sure why you're planning on living on minimum wage in the first place breh.

Even with no technical skills or certifications, you can get a job making more, significantly more, than minimum wage. Be a waiter at a decent restaurant. Be a mover. You could work at a call center, they pay decently around my way. Do some jobs where you're getting tips. Get multiple jobs while you develop a skill.

Nope shyt is very difficult. I did it in my late teens, but I had a roommate.

I have a mortgage. fukk no. I would be working multiple jobs most of the week and still trying to figure shyt out. The last time I was able to live on minimum it was because my mom paid all the house bills.

No one can. Minimum wage was not supposed to "live off" with. Anyone who does needs to live with family or have roommates

Gain more job skills that is needed in the labor market, and you will get paid more. Simple

In NY, it’s only possible if you’re single and live with a roommate or your parents. If you have kids or want to live alone, you need to be making at least $60k a year or be lucky and have a cheap apartment.
