Can you get ripped (or buff) by doing just 500 push-ups a day?

Nah... you'll probably overtrain

but go for it, see what happens. 500 isn't a lot when you think about. Just do like 50 an hour. In school this was a priority, now that i'm older idk if I got time to remember this. I trying to do 100 when I wake up and 100 before I go to bed though

You'll probably get bored of it after while...

I used to do this.. Did it for about 5-6 months and got really tone. The best part about it is the feeling of being really light.. You feel so damn light it's ridiculous. The annoying part is if you stop for a week it all goes away and you just look normal. My triceps got developed pretty well too.

if you change up your push ups, doing wide grip, close grip, diamonds, etc you will get a pretty solid upper body workout. add in some pullups and and you will be doing a pretty solid workout.

but it ain't necessarily about the QUANTITY of pushups but the quality.

try doing 5 sec pushups or holds and other stuff.

in the army we did that alot and it develops those muscles pretty daamn good.

5 seconds down, 5 seconds up. do the same thing with the pull ups.

lol hell naw.

Tyson has/had a 20 inch neck. He did way more than just pushups. And if you're going by that alleged workout routine of his that is floating around the web, you shouldn't be.

nikkas really believe mike did just pushups and situps to be 5'10 225 jacked:mjlol:

I'm reading Undisputed Truth right now and can't find any info on Mike's workouts. I was hoping somebody could help me out with that. I'm broke right now, but if I could find out out exactly what Mike did to get the body he has, I will spend every last penny I have on a gym membership.no question about it.
