Yeah as long as you don't try to be extra and let people know you don't it's not a big deal...but generally if you're trying to be extra about that your music is corny and preachy anyway

I remember my poetry teacher in HS gave us some Rakim lyrics and asked us if we could point out one thing about them in particular...after about 10 minutes of guessing he pointed out that there was no cursing and we were all like :ohhh:

The "positive" rappers who market themselves as "positive" rappers almost always seem so wack, Maybe if they're too scared to let their music speak for itself, there's usually a reason.
