It's almost like it's the nature of the businessthe same thing could be said about vince mcmahon while we're at it.
this is how vince built his empire. taking ready-made stars from other promotions, and running with other promoters' ideas as well.

that was the 80s and vince was building a company, we're talking about a developmental brand here
same way how tony khan doing the same thing isn't an issue because he's building a company and putting these same people on their main show immediately, that is a far cry from signing 35+ year olds who been on the scene for 15 years and putting them on a developmental brand where theyre stuck there for 5 years and by the time they get called up they may not even have a decade left in the tank, you're supposed to be building for the future
meanwhile actual PC recruits were stuck doing leg and chest day and playing security guard during contract signings
