he did. the story is a retread of assault on precinct 13 which itself was based on rio bravo and night of the living dead. in spite of that, ghosts of mars was cheesy fun. kinda reminds me of the old sci fi horrors of the 50s and 60s that would mashup space with earth monsters like "planet of the vampires" but with modern production values and a solid cast
