Not all humans were Evil... not all Mutants were good...
In a world full of Mutants there would still be murders, rapes, hatred, etc...
It's not a Mutant Vs Human thing... it's a Good Vs. Evil situation. You have to rid the world of Evil Humans & Evil Mutants... that would only leave the Good of both...
It's very Black & White... symbolically, poetically & literally...
