I don't see what that tape did for him, it came out and was forgotten in the same week. Best move of his career, along with Casey V, was going on tour with Mac Miller and placing dibs on those white fans.

Yeah I'm not seeing how that tape put him on the radar. He been on the radar, that tape ain't expose him to anybody that wasn't listening to him before. Most new listeners are probably brought in by his older shyt or his features on Currensy/Mac Miller shyt

Yea, both them and Mickey Factz are interesting cases, another hypebeast/solecollector/niketalk OG who has seen his career fall by the wasteside due to label drama. Its messed up too, because I thought the tape he dropped this year was the best thing he's done so far and he put a dope concept/idea behind it and generated very little buzz.
