I like it , I even like Malpractice though.

Obviously Dare and Muddy Waters are superior.

I didn't really start losing interest in Red until Red Gone Wild. He just seemed to have lost his personality a bit.
Last time he made me raise an eyebrow was with this classic freestyle :

muddy waters is def his best work- not sure if this album is #2 though

dare iz a darkside n the whut thee album are both sick

"time for some aksion" was the first time i heard redman and been a fan ever since- so i loved the "whut thee album" but i think dare is the darkside is better- then i think ill go with docs da name

redman is in my top 5 for greatest of all time list- been making hits since 1992- muddy waters 2 will most likely be dope

It was okay. It was a big let down compared to the rest of his albums. But Def Jam was really pushing that sound in 98. Music was changing and cleaner sounds with more of a keyboard sound and radio influence was really taking center stage. Def Jam was leading the pack with that sound.

It really depends on your age imo. It's a good album but a softer sound from Redman.

Yea, I'm on this boat as well. Some of Redman's best songs on this album but I think it's a weaker album overall or I should say the good songs are grat but there were a lot of bad songs on it too. I actually think Malpractice was a slightly better album. But for a lot of the 80's and 90's babies, this was likely their 1st introduction to dude and it's a good one, Doc's da Name is his most accessible album. Still this was a top 10 album in 98 for for me, even though it's not as good as his 1st 3 albums.
