Black men don’t acknowledge our depression because we ate too busy just trying to make it against all odds
Black men have continuously been told we ain’t shyt, ain’t leaders and that our opinions and views mean absolutely nothing since we came out of p*ssy
We do our best to appease everybody but ourselves
We saw death, drug use, abuse and all kinds of shyt as youths
We can never truly express ourselves for the fear of being called “acting whet”
Or you grew up in a middle class/upper middle class home and ate looked down upon for that because
“You wasn’t in the trenches”
I’ve seen that very rhetoric on here
Ad hominem “nikka nerd” used as a weapon to shame a nikka or discount his viewpoint of the world
The constant barrage of attacks on social media and propaganda that is terrestrial/classic media
Ie black men are the white men of the black community
Stop Asian Hate
Black men are the league leaders in killing black women
Combine that with the clear as day agenda of effeminate men being paraded around as brave/heroes
Knowledge being held and not shared
Values completely discarded
Certain careers looked down upon when those same careers gave generations opportunities to be more
We were Cowboys, huntsmen, farmers, inventors
Now that’s met with
from both men and women alike
Knowledge being held onto to only advance oneself and not a fractured community

No outlets for catharsis
Music programs, art programs, writing/literature programs being cut from school budgets
Sure mental health is starting to be a conversation
But too many people still shun the idea and keep with the notion that it’s “white people shyt”
Read that stupidity on here as well
And what you have is a receipt for disaster
Once we address the root problem you know how to fix it
Stop labeling nikkas soft if they confide in you
Get out in these streets and help young men before they become the crash test dummies you nikkas despise so much on here
Actually make a change in yourself and stop having one sided visions of what life is and what it’s supposed to be
But judging by the responses already in here and the length of this thread
nikkas don’t want these types of conversations and they nikkas damn sure don’t have the aptitude to deal with conversations like they claim to have
