I think Q and kendrick are aware enough to rep for the current sound of LA, but also aware enough to know that they themselves can’t pull it off as well as the youngins actively doing it. So they kinda stepped aside and let the youngins shine. Movie, peekaboo, and GNX

Q actually did have a verse on it but he took it off when the album was released. I watched an interview with AzChike last night and he mentioned that he still has the one with Q but was also shocked that Q removed himself from the joint. Q would’ve killed that beat but for some reason, it still flows within the album even without him on it
