I swear it’s the same one Timbo used on Busta’s intro off Missy’s debut album.


Yeah it’s def the same for the most part… a lot of producers do that for some reason

on another note, it’s a shame Busta never worked with Timbaland on his own material

Low key I wanted to hear this

That intro and several songs on the album have subtle and not so subtle references to songs Missy was featured on or wrote. There's little hints in the production like the nod to "Can We" on the intro, Missy singing "One In A Million" on one of the songs on Supa Dupa Fly. There's a nod to the "Steelo" remix on "Izzy Izzy Ahh". Of course "Hit Em Wit Da Hee" is a nod to Missy's verse on the Gina Thompson song.

Did SWV not perform Can We at the Versus with Xscape? I can't find it anywhere

Gonna play the album today. I never really noticed all the little homages you mentioned outside of the Can we nod on the intro.
