rg3 is running pistol very hard to defend thats where most of his success from in a normal offense he might not be that good but im still team black qb team rg3

There's no such thing as a normal offense. Offense is offense. It's a matter of it working or not.

This is where the argument stops for me. The Lions game was impressive the way he took the team on his back and won it, but the stats were not impressive at all. You hear 391 yards and think damn the kid was ballin, except when you see that he threw 3 picks and completed 24 out of 54 pass attempts :scusthov:

IMO any qb can sling the rock all game long. I'll take the nikka who can take care of the ball (RG3 - 17TDs & 4INT vs Luck - 17TDs & 16INT) rather than someone who just throws the ball wrecklessly for 800 yds a game

That's dumb as fukk. Not many rookies are throwing the ball 40times and winning. He's doing that becuz he has to do it. He has no run gm. With a run gm, Luck is a 65% passer.

VS the Lions, he took a beating. It got to a point where he was dam near getting hit every pass attempt.

There is no way RG3 is going to be allowed to run that option sh1t his entire career. Shanny is doing him a disservice by running that gimmick sh1t.

Both are great but RG3 didn't beat the Giants last night. The Giants beat the Giants last night. Penalties and their offensive play calling, in the 2nd half, did them in. They actually kept RG3 at bay

Only TWICE in 12 games has Luck thrown UNDER 30 passes in a game. That's crazy!

If you're going on pure stats, then RG3 should win the ROY hands down. If you take the whole ball of wax into account as well, you have a helluva case for Luck to win it.

I think RG3 is having the better year statistics wise (don't really see how you could argue otherwise), but actually WATCHING them play, Luck is the better player. Shanny deserves Coach of the Year consideration for that pistol read option offense he's running with RG3. I watched the entire game last night and not once did I see RG3 throw to a receiver that wasn't open by at least 2-3 yards. There was someone open on literally every play because the Giants had no choice but to respect the run game. Luck doesn't have that same luxury and has to force the ball downfield even when his receiver may not have great separation.

As a Fins fan, it's actually frustrating watching RG3 and Wilson have success running the read option when we have a dude who was the leading receiver on his college team and yet our OC is adamant about keeping him in the pocket and strictly making him a passer.

I watched Luck stink it up against the Jets right in front of me. He made some bad throws under pressure and was fooled by coverages, like most rookies.

I wish I could see RGIII this year.

Fukkin pistol OPTION.

nikka could drive a bus thru the windows he thrown to. Luck is slingin dat thang 50 times into tight zones with no run gm :ohlawd:

They can't run that shyt forever. RG3's gonna end up :dead: if they keep this up. But Shanny's doing what he's gotta do:yeshrug:

I think its hilarious how much these offenses upset fans and media pundits. They are run to great success, they are winning games, and it pisses fans and media types off.

The reason why WR (well only Garcon) are getting open is because of RG3's ball handling ability on play action. He is probably the best in the NFL at running a play action. Yes even better than Peyton. And when he is in a conventional drop back mode, RG3 fits the ball in tight windows. We have been seeing that all season, and yet it still pisses folks off. :pachaha:

I dont know why this upsets people on here so much. Its hillarious each week seeing posts like, "THIS DAMN PISTOL OFFENSE!!" and "ITS A DAMN GIMMICK!" "IT MAKES ME MAD!!" :pachaha:

Here is the truth, you are going to see a lot more Pistol offenses ran in the NFL because of RG3's success, just like we started seeing more WCO ran because of what the 49ers were doing.

And its funny that you are a Dolphins fan who probably talks well of Tannehill despite the fact that he is running the same offense he ran at A&M with the same coach.:bryan:

I wont even talk up RG3 anymore. Ive realized people are just mad, and will stay mad. Whenever I see a post trying to discredit what RG3 is doing, im just going to post :umad: and leave it at that.

I watched Luck stink it up against the Jets right in front of me. He made some bad throws under pressure and was fooled by coverages, like most rookies.

this is the irony of it all. They dont want to acknowledge Luck's fukk ups, but instead use that to prop dude up.
