I think he semi-retired not so much stepped away he still directed all of Marlon and Shawn’s duo movies.


I also I think he got tired of the bullshyt in Hollywood. I saw an interview if his a few years ago and he basically said that the last few seasons of Living Color and how the network treated him took alot out of him
