all my friends stopped watching in the 2000s. I posted a gif of the fiend Bray Wyatt in a group chat and one of them thought it was Kane :francis:

Same here, aside from one friend who is now firmly a casual fan, all my other friend's dropped wrestling years ago, I'm the only one left

it's slowly getting there, it needs to start with good merch. The shyt WWE makes cant be worn in public lol. It's so easy to make more fashionable shirts but they suck at it

Breh, there is only literally a handful of shirts I would wear in public, you couldn't pay me to rock the majority

Cool is subjective like I’m not talking about wrestling being super main stream with people that wouldn’t watch if others weren’t

But we could do more celebrating among each other, especially all the die hards and that can include shyt talking, just shooting the shyt, having fun…

All the homies having fun rocking wrestling gear saying fukk u and ur favorite wrestler out of love or just celebrating your fav wrestler together

I promise you it’s possible :wow:

Pockets of people can be like what you are describing but the majority, no, wrestling fandom is too tribalistic, with people seeing themselves as extensions of men and women they don't know. Look at the bullshyt AEW vs WWE stan wars with people acting like they're employed by either company.

And now UFC is just MAGA edgelord bullshyt
And that's why I"m glad I've never liked that shyt :pachaha:
Nah I know cool wrestling fans

And EVERYONE was either WWF or WCW back in the day :wow:

I saw a tweet the other day after the ibou shyt that said what’s wrong with fans nowadays is that they want to be insiders instead of fans and I agree but add bookers on top of that.

Like just focus on just having fun losers :wow:
Blame Vince for constantly telling everybody it's fake. :yeshrug:

Just let the audience figure that out for themselves.

The problem is, Vince wanted to be hailed as this genius, which inherently puts the spotlight on the booker

Bookers should've never started talking about their "process" in public.

Wrestlers should've never started talking about their "characters" in public.

It should've just remained a thing that real fans talk about, but shouldn't have been validated by the bookers themselves.

You're not different than "Star Wars" or Marvel & DC when you do that.

The toothpaste is out the tube now, though. :francis:
Online wrestling fans were complaining about Austin in 98-99. The IWC has always been like this :dead:
Yeah, but hardly anybody was online back then.

Only nerds were online back then, really.
