The simple truth, as I see it, is that we have a lot of self-hatred, hatred of those who look like us, hatred of our ancestry, hatred of what we have gone through, hatred caused by tribalism, hatred caused by making poor decisions and suffering the consequences; all of that hatred and more that we are so willing to take out on each other. Too many of us look at this from only our own perspective alone, and doing that removes the possibility of creating empathy for each other or even rectifying the problem.
The solution to all of this is something I have been racking my brain about for over 27 years. I fear I am just not a visionary enough to supply a solution that will be accepted by the masses. I can supply a solution that some accept on a one on one basis, but the masses no since they are more influenced by each other and the negativity of those whom they look up to. Understanding that fact, I attempt to do things in small numbers, in my family, social groups, and hope that with time those numbers will grow. Hopefully the pain we experience from what is happening politically will also help us get on the same track, where we finally are more open to a different paradigm that starts with us really loving ourselves and who we are.
I know I will not live to see what the possible outcome of all of this tribulation will be, but the best I can hope for is that my own family and those others willing to listen will weather through it and be able to build something for themselves that has a strong foundation and difficult for others to tear down. It is also why I rep self-suffiency, because that Is what I really hope for my ethnicity to achieve in particular, and even my race to achieve overall (Though, charity always starts at home first).
