I would rather marry a chick who grew up in the same type of neighborhood as me with the same type of income, with a similar upbringing than me who happens to be another race than marrying a girl who had a different upbringing, different culture, etc who happens to be black. The caveat is that the odds are a girl with the same socio-economic background as me will probably be black.

From what i observe, people who do this tend to be happier although it's anecdotal.
