What's crazy is, I was into the emulator/ROM scene back in the day....I'm talking like 8+ years ago, and those were the same emulators I used lol.

Hell yea and now ive made some of my old systems useful (wii/ps2/gamecube) by running emu's on them as well..Once I build my next gaming rig I will be eating off the Dreamcast emu

So I got the SSF prepped (I think) and my Dragon Force Rom is mounted to the Daemon Tools...but when I switch the to the new drive (DTSOFT BDROM) it's not reading the game (says the drive is empty when I hit close tray)

Nope, is that all it takes

Edit: Restarted it, still the same issue. The area code is switched to America and I downloaded BIOS as well since that's supposed to help. I used a youtube tutorial to configure everything...not sure why it ain't working.

Thats usually what needs to happen when you create a new drive to mount images

Okay, now when I go to mount the image to the drive it's opening up a folder to select a file...there are folders titled body, cpk, game, etc. and just a bunch of other files (I'm assuming from the bin file). I tried clicking a few but none work. I think it's reading it as an audio only.

hmm I know sometimes when dealing with certain MAME programs linux operating system works best.. id say your best bet is to google the individual ROM name along with MAME to see what version of MAME it is compatible with.
