I hear this one is really good I've never gotten around to watching all of it though.

I've seen it and his stats are beautifully presented, but a lot of it is deeply misleading. A very "scientism" way of looking at the world where you think that life is getting better by looking at short-term snapshots and raw numbers instead of really breaking down what creates true quality of life and positive long-term outcomes.

I don't know if it's a placebo effect or not, but this shyt works for me before presentations, interviews and meetings.

There's a lot of questions about her research, and a lot of controversy about those questions. Some people really went after her:

Currently reading her book "Mindset" damn this book is on point, I'm realizing I've been stuck in a fixed mindset for way too long and that has been debilitating.

Just finished "The Four", Galloway is great at explaining how thesemajor companies work in a funny and concise manner and the negative impact they have on our lives.

Gonna start on "Hillbilly Elegy" this weekend, I've listened to several of this dude's interviews and I'm a bit skeptical given how much the right has shown him love. But at the same time people I actually respect have said it's a really good book.

JD Vance's book bruh's :whoo: shyt was like several episodes of Shameless revolving around Lip, but instead of fukking up in undergrad the main character heads to the Marines and Yale law school. Great book I related to a lot of the class issues that come with being poor and heading to law school.

Just finished Oakley's course on Coursera, I STRONGLY recommend folks take the course. The entire course can be finished in 3-5 days.
