plus recently buyin' them' again since i've restarted my hip hop album collection due to a lot of my shyt bein' scratched up, stolen or lost
but these 2 albums are really like the godfather 1 and the godfather 2 of this hip hop shyt; the combination of the writin' as far as the lyrics go is as profound as it gets and then the in depth and cinematic production make for the most timeless hip hop albums hip hop has ever seen and heard

biggie was ahead of nikkas with his shyt. he wrote and rhymed like it was breathin' or just talkin'
he couldn't fail with production either; from a who's who of producers and production team
people still quotin' these albums left and right till this day
these album left a mark on hip hop and i feel like are the bench mark IMO
it wasn't just the lyrics, it wasn't just the production, it was BOTH of these necessities that made these albums the monumental albums they are
