See, I disagree 100%. Everyone acts like they're filming these commercials at halftime and shyt. Let them players live. Let's not forget that of the 3 major sports (sorry Hockey), that NFL players A. are putting their health (short term and long term) on the line every time they take the field, and B. are least compensated compared to the other sports.
So the players, who are approached by these ppl, offered money to shoot a commercial, should say "nah, I'll pass. I don't think that will be good for my team when we're playing in 6 months"? Absurd. There is no "hollywood mentality" in the locker room. You're telling me that Rodgers thinks he's king shyt because he's in a State Farm commercial? Or Jennings, or Raji, or Matthews, or whoever? You must not know Coach McCarthy very well. No, any "superior mentality" they MAY have stems from the fact that they're as good as it gets as players in the NFL.

portcityplaya is making the most sense in here. It's not as if our players are walking into the State Farm, or Old Spice offices with guns, demanding to be in a commercial. And to think that we lost to the 49ers because of commercials may be the most ludicrous thing I've read/heard all year.
