I do think Charlotte makes a good heel champ. I think she was at her best around the Mania she faced Sasha and Becky.

She can not play a babyface. In terms of personality and her size she is a natural heel, so she lost a lot of momentum with them making her a babyface.

Becky was best when she was on that tweener shyt just after try tried to force her as a heel against Charlotte. Fans were behind her but she was basically acting like a heel. Doing Austin style beat downs, burying Edge etc.

But as is the case with anything good WWE do, they turn anything organic into a catchphrase and it just becomes another act,, and obviously it's way less compelling watching a babyface as champ rather than them chasing the title. And that's been made even worse by their trash opponents they had for her.

I don't know what the fukk happened to the women's roster but they seriously need some new heels in there. It's about damn time they call up Shayna. Her showing up at Summerslam and destroying Becky after her match and then quickly winning the title with Becky chasing the rest of the year would be dope.

Becky was great til they cornied her up. Making her shirts every time she breathed, plus it felt like she feuded with Lacey for 6 months. Don’t even get me started on this unnatural Rollins stuff on tv. They may be a good couple offscreen, but on screen, they don’t have the slightest chemistry.

Charlotte is a good heel, but all they’ve tried to do with her is try to make her hold the same amount of women’s titles as her dad held world titles in 1/8 of the timeframe.

Top star does not equal "best champion."

Case in point: Kofi Kingston is WWE Champion and is in the midst of what I would assume is a consensus "good reign" as champion. But Roman Reigns is viewed by the WWE as the bigger star.

Back on topic: My argument for who is the better champion revolves solely around whether or not -- and if so, how -- the entire women's division benefits from said person as champion.

Charlotte -- who was also in that Wrestlemania main event, having been inserted into said match and immediately made champion to ensure that said main event would be seen as important -- has typically been involved in most every single marquee match in women's history. It can be assured that whatever title Charlotte holds will receive some kind of showcase time on TV/PPVs

Becky's most substantial run as women's champion has been spent meandering about with Lacey Evans and making sure everybody knows she's fukking Seth Rollins. People are calling for another women's revolution when we're supposed to be smack dab in the middle of one.

TL;DR - When Charlotte is champion or about to be champion, the WWE remembers it has a women's division.

Becky’s allure was all about the run to get there. Face champions usually get stale after a while.

A great character arch would be her losing the title and then unraveling and letting the character go somewhere new. But I’d rather have this Becky than Charlotte as champ
