I don't think Prime is the type to bullshyt about what his aspirations are. He made it clear when at JSU he would entertain power 5 offers. One thing he has stood firm on his absolutely not wanting to coach in the NFL. Like passionately not wanting to do the shyt.

I'm always curious what folks do for a living? Ever been around a CEO or top lawyer? Or even an amazing performer of any type? Ever been around a Jerry Jones or Magic Johnson type? Even a CEO of say a regional bank. Ever flown business class to Zurich with World Bank types?

Not even talking shyt, I'm genuinely curious.

John Wooden, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, Bobby Knight

Yeah, when people hear those names they definitely think "amateur hour". If you named the top 10 basketball coaches ever, at any level, aren't college coaches getting at least 4-5 of the top ten spots including probably the top two?

You want to go money? Lane Kiffin at Tennessee makes nearly $9 million a year....and there are ten college coaches who make more than him. How many NFL coaches make more than that? Also ten. There are only four NFL coaches with ridiculous costly contracts, other than that, the top college coaches and the top NFL coaches get paid roughly the same.

Not to mention, once again, that life satisfaction isn't measured by the sort of online posturing and pocket counting that takes place here.

The four coaches mentioned are great men, but they never competed at the highest level. And I didn't say the men were amateur hour, I said the sports (the fukking games) are amateur hour, which is why you see most great college coaches flame out at the professional level. Also why you see most good college players doing something else after college. They were never elite competitors. They played ball all the time knowing their true calling was something else, different types. Just like the CEO is usually different from the engineer-founder (not a perfect analogy, just pointing out different types).

College sports are like 2001/2002 era, when Pierre-Richard Prosper and Colin Powell were in the state department fielding studies about where to house detainees and how to "properly" treat them. The real professionals--Rumsfeld, Cheney, Addington--were drafting up Torture Memos and pushing 'em directly through the executive branch. Completely different games.

When he was on the field, QBs avoided throwing his way, teams avoided punting to him. As coach of Jackson State, he attracted ESPN College Gameday and massive media attention to that school. Now he's doing the same at CU. When he moves, THE fukkING INDUSTRY MOVES WITH HIM.

No offense my guy, but the bolded is how I know my point ain't landing for you. I'm never one to quote Omar from the Wire (worst character on the show), but, "this ain't about your money bruh." We not talking about pocket counting.

Motherfukkers don't understand the game or how sophisticated the business is. Deion does and feels comfortable in those rooms.

Again, just pay attention and enjoy the ride.
